Bail Right Now’s Military Veterans Program is an initiative to assist honorably discharged men and women become small business owners by launching and managing their own bail bond agency.
Bail Right Now is proud to provide assistance, the tools and resources that will help our nations veterans pursue an exciting and rewarding career.
Veterans seeking a post-military career have found a natural connection to the bail industry. Veterans are able use the valuable skills they have acquired during their military service. Skills such as leadership, teamwork, discipline and critical thinking are all extremely valuable in this industry. Success rates of entrepreneurs that are former service personel are higher than their non-military counterparts.
Qualified applicants include those who:
- Received an honorable discharge from the military.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No criminal record.
- Must meet all state requirements.
- Must complete and pass pre-licensing requirements.
- Must complete and pass state licensing requirements.
- Must be able to perform the following duties including but not limited to:
Ability to write/complete bail forms and powers of attorney.
Prompt and immediate delivery of bail bonds to jail/correctional facility.
Monitor and supervise defendants out on bail. If necessary, facilitate the apprehension of defendants who fail to appear in court and return them to jail/correctional facility.
Ability to collect premiums and/or collateral for a defendant’s release on bail.
